Prof. Radhey Shyam Singh has been serving this institute since September 1989. He has completed his studies from BHU, Varanasi. He occupied various prime responsibilities during his service period, like Dean Student Welfare, Head of the Department, Programme Officer is NSS, Principal, etc. Prof. Singh is also a member of various academic bodies of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya, like Academic Council, BoS, Research and Development Cell. Till date 14 scholars have been awarded Ph.D. under his noble supervision. He has published many reference books as well as textbooks, book chapters and research articles in national reputed journals. Dr. Singh has been awarded with many prestigious awards, like Vivekananda Award, Guru Excellence Award, etc.

Entry of candidates into the examination hall
All students admitted in a programme (UG & PG) with required attendance shall fill examination form by their own at the dedicated portal of the affiliating university Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya at its dedicated website https://rmlauexams.co.in/ by logging-in with UIN and mobile number. After successful filling of form and remittance of requisite fee through online gateway, the printed examination form shall be submitted to the prescribed window in the institute. The examination forms received till last date shall be verified by members of the Examination committee (technical).
No candidate will be eligible for the semester/annual examination unless he / she possesses minimum attendance.
This process shall be the same for the student applying for improvement or supplementary.
The timetable of various examinations of every program covered under annual system as well as CBCS/semester system shall be issued well before the commencement of the Examinations. The examination timetable is issued by the affiliating university Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya at its dedicated website http://www.rmlau.ac.in/new/ExamSchemes.aspx. The Controller of the Examination shall put up a copy of the timetable in the official WhatsApp group of the Institute. The same shall be displayed in the Department Notice Board and also shared in the students’ WhatsApp groups by the Head of the Departments.
Every candidate who appears for the examination shall be given admit card. The admit card for candidates of the annual system shall be received in-person from the Controller of the Examination of the affiliating university Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya. These admit cards shall be distributed through a single window at the administrative office well before the commencement of the examination.
The candidate of CBCS/semester shall download admit card from the dedicated portal http://rmlauentrance.in/entrance/admitcard.aspx of the affiliating university Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya. Examination application form number and date of birth are required to download the admit card. The admit cards downloaded through online mode also contain the examination timetable of the candidate.
Admit cards shall be essential for the candidate to enter in the examination room/hall.
One hour before the commencement of examination a “master seating plan” shall be posted on the central notice board in front of the administrative block. This master seating plant shall guide the candidates to the faculty his/her seat is allotted in.
At the entrance of the faculty, “faculty seating plan” is posted 1-hour before the commencement of examination. This faculty seating plan shall guide the students to the rooms his/her seat is allotted.
“Candidate seating plans” shall be posted at the entrance of the room. These seating plans shall show the candidate his/her respective seat number.
- The Candidates should enter the examination room at least 30 minutes before the commencement of examination. In exceptional cases, the Controller of the Examination can permit some permissible relaxation.
- Answer books shall be distributed 15 minutes before the commencement of examination.
- Question papers shall be distributed 5 minutes before the commencement of examination.
- Candidates shall not be permitted after 30 minutes of commencement of examination.
- The entrance of students shall be carefully monitored by the team of the Internal Flying Squad.
- The candidate shall deposit their bags, mobile phones, smart watches, etc. to the token counter of the college.
- Candidates are not allowed to stand or cluster around the examination areas.
- Students should be in proper attire during the examinations.
- Any student found guilty of using unfair means (UFM) of any nature shall be liable for disciplinary action. KNIPSS, Sultanpur adapts “Zero tolerance” over the use of unfair means.
- No materials except writing materials, examination admit card and college identity card shall be allowed in the examination room. Mobile Phones, Digital Watches, Programmable Calculators, and other electronic equipment are strictly prohibited in the examination room. Logarithm tables, calculators and other drawing equipment may be allowed only if they are required for answering questions and the question paper contains a note to this effect.
- Instances of malpractice such as copying using manuscripts, copying from other candidates, smuggling of answer books, indecent behaviour in the examination room, use of unfair means etc., are liable to be punished as per the affiliating university rules.
Candidates should fill the required information in the appropriate places in the answer books. Instructions given at the last page of the answer books as well as on the question paper should be strictly followed.
- Students are not permitted to write any identification mark anywhere inside the answer book.
Candidates must ensure the correct question paper. The title of the paper should be checked. Students are advised to verify / check the question paper code, subject code, subject title, and number of pages in the question paper and confirm whether they have been issued with the correct question paper. If there is any discrepancy, it should be brought to the notice of the invigilator immediately.
- Candidates should not write anything on the question paper other than his/her name and register number.
Strict silence should be maintained in the examination hall/rooms. Candidates are not allowed to get clarification from other students. In case of any doubt, they can seek the help of the invigilators.
- Candidates should return all answer books before leaving the room. Candidates are not permitted to leave the examination hall/room without the permission of the invigilator during the course of the examination.
- Candidates are forbidden to ask questions of any kind during the examination. Invigilators are instructed to refuse to answer any inquiry whatsoever related to the question papers, whether as explanation of meaning or correction of typographical errors.
- Answers should be written on both sides of the papers in the answer book. No sheets should be detached from the answer book.
- All rough work should be done either at the right side of the page or last page of the answer book and the portion not intended for valuation should be stricken off by drawing a single line across it.
- Read the instructions carefully before answering.
- Any query should be immediately brought to the attention of the invigilator.
- Candidates are obliged to follow instructions issued by the invigilators.
- Announcements in the examination hall/room should be viewed seriously.
- Any requirements during the examination should be brought to the attention of the invigilator.
- Candidates shall be permitted to leave the Examination Hall only after his / her answer book is taken charge of by the invigilator.
- The students, not appearing for an examination, are advised not to stand / sit / crowd near the examination zone during the examination period, so as not to cause any disturbance to the students who are writing the examination.

The original marksheet is collected from the Controller of the Examination of affiliating university, Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya by the authorized personnel and after countersign of the principal of this institute same is distributed to the candidate from single windows.
Candidates should directly approach the affiliating university, Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya to appeal, showing photocopies of valued answer scripts, retotalling, and evaluation.
The office of the Controller of the Examination shall provide all possible help to the candidates for resolving their grievances.
