About Us
The Department of B.P.Ed was established in 2004 under self-finance scheme.
The Department has rich Library and a well equipped Indoor Gymnasium as well as laboratory for Exercise Physiology, Sports Psychology, Physiotherapy Human Performance Training, Computer and Yoga.
The department has a separate building and play grounds with all the required facilities and infrastructure for teaching and learning as per NCTE norms. The job placement of the students is above 70%. till now.
NCTE-approved Under Graduate programmes, BPEd. at kamla nehru institute of Physical and Social Sciences, Sultanpur is credited for grooming excellent Physical education teachers and nurturing sportspersons who have made a mark at national and international competitions. A centre of excellence and innovation for grooming global Physical Education professionals, sportspersons and sports entrepreneurs who can provide professional and social leadership to create sports and health consciousness.
Objective
(1) To imbibe the teaching-learning and sports skills for shaping physical educationists and sportspersons.
(2) To develop officiating capacity, sports management, leadership and entrepreneurship skills through experiential learning.
(3) To promote consciousness about harmonious development of body, mind and soul for contributing to a healthy society.
(4) To produce" best Physical Educator for imparting training in the subject of physical education".
