Department of Microbiology

About Us

The Department established under self finance scheme in 2003 with Undergraduate subject level and in 2006 Postgraduate degree course started. The objective of Department is to generate skill in different fields of Microbiology according to need of different industries, also to develop competence for pursuing research in Microbiology and allied field. The Department is equipped with instruments related to Microbiological, Biochemical, Analytical, Immunological and Molecular Biological works. The Department also runs the add-on certificate course on “Microbiological assessment of Drinking Water” Since 2013 onwards, the students of this Department have consecutively obtained gold medal for scoring highest marks in Dr. R.M.L. Avadh University, examinations.
