About Us

Faculty of Education was started with the establishment of K.N.I.P.S.S, Sultanpur in 1973 with its graduation (B.Ed.), and Post Graduation (M.Ed.) under grant-in-aid system. Faculty achieved its significant academic excellence through sincere and diverse contribution of all the faculty in charges from time to time namely, Dr. R.S. Tewari, Dr. B. P. Singh, Mr. K. B. Singh, Dr. S. P. Singh and presently Dr. Neeta Singh who have been constant inspiration for smooth condition of faculty programmed.
Faculty of Education/Deptt. of B.Ed & M.Ed., also known as Deptt. of Teacher Education always adopts good practices through teacher's training program to achieve the vision of faculty, i.e.'' to make quality and defining elements of teacher education program''. B.Ed. & M.Ed. programs of the Institute were recognized by NCTE with reference order  no. F-3/up-216/98/4843 dated 5.2.1998 & order no. F-3/up-23-M.Ed./2000/4723 dated 25.07.2000 respectively affiliated to Dr.  R. M. L. Avadh University, Ayodhya.
Faculty of Education has a rich library sufficient to cater the need of all students of B.Ed & M.Ed. Faculty has well equipped laboratories. After completing their training programs from a number of students are appointed in H.EI, secondary education, primary education, civil and administrative services.
Research work is exhaustively done under the super-vision of faculty members. P.G. level (M.Ed.) dissertation work is compulsory for all the students, therefore 60 dissertation works have been completed. Nearly 22 scholars have completed their doctoral thesis work (Ph.D.). So for two national research projects have been completed and further have been published by faculty members, besides nearly 09 achieves in International journals and 18 achieves in National journals, 05 International seminar, 27 National seminar and 30 workshop were attended. At present 11 research scholars are enrolled their doctoral degree.
